Antonella RossiAntonella Rossi is full professor at the Department of Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry at the University of Cagliari (Italy). She is head of the group "Surface analysis, electrochemistry and corrosion". Born in 1956, she studied Chemistry at University of Cagliari (Sardinia) where she was awarded the Degree in Chemistry, cum laude, in 1981. From 1983 to 1998 she was enrolled as Researcher at the Department of Chemistry and Inorganic and Metallorganic Technology of the University of Cagliari. In 1998 she was appointed Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Cagliari. She is lecturer of "Quantitative Surface Analysis" (from 2000) at the ETH Zurich, Department of Materials Science. She is co-author of 128 papers and 2 patents; she has presented the results of her work at : Italian (58) and international (62) congresses, symposia and conferences. Since 1989 she has been project-leader of 23
projects.
She is component of a seven-member committee at the
University of
Cagliari for the organization of an Interdepartmental
Center of
Advanced Instrumentation for the development of
microscopic and
nanoscopic imaging, structural and spectroscopic
techniques (LIMINA): a
joint project of the Chemistry-, Physics- and Engineering
Departments,
since December 2001. This project is co-financed by
